This group meets once a month with a common interest in art. We usually paint, or sketch, or sew, whilst we chat. The group was commissioned to make a frame for the Living Witness notice board – the result is an astonishing 3 dimensional collage, representing the 4 seasons of the year. Dont miss it – in the social space of the first floor of the meeting house.
The group came together after the very successful OPEN UP art events in 2010 and 2011, held at the Meeting House over 2 weekends in Spring.
We have also taken part in OPEN UP 2012, with around 10 or more artists and craftspeople showing their work… weaving, tapestry, painting, and more. 200 visitors came to the meeting house during those 2 weekends.
