Book group will not meet in August.

It will start again on Saturday September 6th at the MH to discuss And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. This is a small friendly group which always welcomes new members. We meet in the MH library. The time was chosen as it co-incides the point that city centre parking gets cheaper! (for anyone coming by car) We usually meet on the first Saturday of the month, but it occasionally gets changed, eg if its a Bank Holiday weekend.

We meet once a year to plan our reading programme. The next few books are as follows:

1st November Regeneration by Pat Barker
6th December Goodbye to all that by Robert Graves
10th January Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin
7th February Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche
