Emmaus Sheffield

Our Friend Alastair Heron gave a generous donation which enabled the start of
Emmaus Sheffield. I have been a trustee and volunteer there for a number of
years. It is managed by an ex-colleague of mine from the Probation Service.
There is an opportunity to support them as set out below. Please consider
voting for them! Thank you, Laura Kerr

/Royal Bank of Scotland has publically announced a Skills and Opportunities
Fund which is designed to help people help themselves. This is very much the
ethos of the Emmaus Community in Sheffield where people have a home in which
they live and social enterprise in which they volunteer. Since 2008, over 160
former homeless men and women have helped themselves to regain their dignity
and sense of worth, many returning to their families, independent living and
work. Emmaus Sheffield has been shortlisted by RBS for consideration for a
grant of £18,000 from this fund, to support its vital and unique work. The
Bank has from midday on 21st October until noon 4th November 2016 put this
proposal along with others to a public vote./

/Emmaus Sheffield would be grateful for your support with this application,
which in the current economic climate is vital in helping to sustain its
work. This can be done by clicking on the follow web page:/
