Hooray, hooray, the good news is that the Edinburgh marathon is successfully completed!
The fundraising has gone really well, thanks again to everyone for their generous support. Initially we were aiming to raise £500 but then, remembering the people affected by cancer, we felt the need to push for £1000. The current total is just over £2, 263 ….which is a great tribute to those wonderful people in whose memory we ran, and to the wonderful bunch of people we are privileged to know and who were kind enough to offer support.
Doing the marathon also made me learn a new skill, blogging and have just written an account of the marathon and the very eventful night that preceded it.
